ARTIST NOTES: This is a self portrait titled "beyond", it depicts me reflecting upon what I know to be true and what I don't know at all yet., I imagine in this painting I would be looking for the next lyrics to write for a song or what melody to play next it is a moment of finding inspiration. I wanted the painting to show me thinking deeply about the contrast of simple things and every thing incredible beyond. this painting should make the viewer question what they think the painting represents and inevitably cause them to query about this amazing place, the things closest to their heart and beyond.
