I grew up in a outer Melbourne suburb very lucky to be able to play in the bushland. In 1985 HSC I studied art apprectation and did craft as practical. I had my first painting lessons around early 2000's and enjoyed it . I worked full time for around 35 years, banking term NAB and ANZ, clerking admin, catering, so much temping and work I ended up knowing most of Melbourne and outer Victoria then cut my work load to part time. I started painting just about every day about 15 years ago. I have been to a variety of art classes and demonstrations including Australian Artist Kevin Boucher and Paul Magosy. I love the beach and the bush all of which inspires me. All my work starts with a blank canvas then i sketch and add paint. I study colour, colour contrast in nature at different times of day and seasons. I have worked in catering, cleaning, overseas bank teller, health worker and obtained a advances diploma in community development/social science |
